We went to Rudy's BBQ this weekend and Matthew and Emily sat in highchairs for the first time! They had very much fun and ate some snacks that we brought for them and they also had some of the bread that came with our meals. Not quite ready for ribs and potato salad! The pics are blurry because they are very fast movers!!!

March for Babies
On April 28th, we headed out to Fellowship of the Woodlands to walk with our WMOM friends for March of Dimes. We don't have the final total but as of the morning of the walk WMOM had raised the most money. Matthew and Emily raised $1540!!

A girl on the move...
Emily aka "Boogie" is officially mobile and is quicker than we could have imagined. She went from a couple of knees movements one day to lightening fast. Last night, I went to HEB and David was home with them. He left them downstairs to run up to get something and she had crawled from the living room into the foyer. She was missing for about 5 seconds!! We will spend our weekend baby proofing the house for one mobile baby, soon to be TWO!!!
Bath Time Fun!
Now that both, Matthew and Emily are sitting, they can enjoy bath time without using an infant tub. They love to kick and splash in the master bath "swimming pool." Thanks to Dad's help, they do not mind having water on their faces and will even go under water without hesitation. I think they are ready for the real pool!!

Easter Weekend
We went to Louisiana for Easter. David played golf and the kids and I did lots of visiting. We saw family and friends. Here are a couple of pics playing at Cheryl's house. They sure did love Andrew's toys!!

We had a crawfish boil on Easter Sunday and then headed back to Texas. Matthew and Emily did not get to participate in the Easter egg hunt this year because they were too busy drinking bottles. Watch out because the golden eggs will be theirs next year!! After a 4 hour drive back to The Woodlands, they were ready to play!!

Matthew's 1st Haircut
To my dismay, Matthew got his first hair cut. His hair was very long on top and short around the sides. David has been insisting for a couple of weeks and I was finally overruled for trying to wait until he turned 1. I will admit that it was a sad moment for this Momma but it looks much better. David cut it for him and he was very interested in playing with the cord to the clipper and the whole thing last 5 minutes. I have the little curls saved in a ziplock. I made sure that David knew that Emily would be going to the salon!!

He LOVES it!!!
